For the 6th Edition (June 18, 2020), we consolidate lessons from the past 10 weeks of research, highlighting the increased awareness of risk and underlying stresses across the community, the central role of local economies in recovery, the challenges of maintaining and re-establishing critical infrastructure, and the adaptive and inclusive decision making processes that are embracing uncertainty and integrating climate change risks into recovery.

Produced by The University of Manchester, UK (Professor Duncan Shaw, Dr Jennifer Bealt, David Powell, Dr Nathaniel O’Grady, Dr Ayham Fattoum, and Professor Ruth Boaden) in partnership with the Global Resilient Cities Network (Sam Kernaghan)
