Metropolis Issue Paper 03: Through case studies from cities across the Metropolis and 100 Resilient Cities network, this paper seeks to analyze the challenges and opportunities of metropolitan-scale planning, and its role in catalyzing resilience objectives.
This report shares 100RC’s knowledge about what it takes to catalyze an urban resilience movement, including what 100RC has learned about building urban resilience, actions that member cities are taking to build their resilience within specific sectors.
This 2018 midterm monitoring and evaluation report sheds light on three of 100RC’s four core goals to date; and addresses features of the overall 100RC model and its organizational structure to update the Foundation on its investment, provide strategic insights to the program, and inform the broader resilience community about the current state of its outcomes.
This 2017 report offers case studies of seven cities’ resilience strategies, describing the successful implementation and results of urban resilience measures such as social equity programs and responses to extreme weather events. Each case study is followed by examples of other 100RC cities tackling similar impacts.
As cities across the region are engaged in their recovery from the health and economic crisis brought by the Covid-19 pandemic, GRCN and ICLEI will join forces to enhance knowledge and share information.
