The UN 2023 Water Conference will be held on March 22-24, 2023, in New York City which provides a unique opportunity for the world water community. It is the first UN conference on water in nearly 50 years and comes at a time when there are urgent needs for bold and accelerated water action. The outcome of the Conference will be a summary of the Conference proceedings and new commitments, pledges and actions by Governments and all stakeholders towards achieving SDG 6 and other water-related goals and targets, compiled in the Water Action Agenda.
Complementary to the UN 2023 Water Conference program several partners, led by The Kingdom of the Netherlands are organizing the New York Water Week between March 18- 24, 2023, which will offer opportunities to explore the art, the science and the challenges pertaining to water across a wider array of stakeholders – including cities!
