About Urban Power Asia

Powering healthier, energy resilient cities in Southeast Asia

Jakarta, Indonesia’s metropolis, is embracing its role as a global city, innovation hub and energy resilience leader. As host city, Jakarta aims to strengthen partnerships for energy resilience in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.

Along with six other participating cities in Southeast Asia, Jakarta seeks to accelerate its energy transitions to ensure a more reliable, disaster-resilient electricity supply, encourage economic growth and innovation and improve the health and well-being of residents.

Together, we aim to exchange knowledge, challenges and best practices to accelerate the transition to a healthier, more energy resilient future.
