Creating a Healthier Urban Future for All

Urban Pulse, a collaboration with Yale University, with generous funding from the Rockefeller Foundation, aims to highlight and address climate-related health and equity challenges. The goal of the program is to mobilize diverse urban stakeholders to identify and amplify innovative, evidence-based solutions to protect health and promote equity in LMICs in Africa, Asia and Latin America and the Caribbean.

The Urban Pulse CityXChange will connect and empower cities striving to collectively improve health outcomes while prioritizing equity in the face climate change. Leveraging the findings from data collection and analysis, the exchange will match resources and experience to needs and challenges, providing a forum to identify, discuss and assess climate, health and equity solutions and their impact potential across contexts.
Analysis and feedback from cities on the relevance, effectiveness and feasibility of solutions will determine applicability across different contexts and inform the program’s replicability and scalability concept.
